I got the very first catalog in the fall of 1986 (why didn't I keep it!!!???). I had one infant and another on the way so I was in the mood to be good to myself, which meant buying Samantha. I justified it in that she had brown hair and brown eyes like dd. Kirsten and Molly followed the next year and I started buying outfits, etc. Then Felicity appeared. Love at first sight! I just went on buying and never really stopped. Nowadays, I'm a little more selective--passing up Elizabeth, for instance. But I'm still in love with AG.
